Work Description:
Students are tasked with producing a succinct animated short film centered on a social issue or animation. This video presentation must be accompanied by a written justification highlighting the theme's significance. The objective is to construct a non-linear narrative en - gaging the class through abstract animation. Each student will create a 15-second segment expressing their interpretation of the theme, México, necessitating collaboration to ensure seamless continuity. Inspired by the surrealist literary game of 1925, this project aims to foster creative engagement and cohesive storytelling within the class.

Digital Animation students have crafted a vibrant 2D tale depicting a group of children navigating a monster attack while playing baseball, discovering positivity amidst adver-sity. Inspired by the dynamic comic book aesthetic of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,the film integrates panels and onomatopoeias, amplifying its youthful and epic essence.Through their resilience, these children showcase their remarkable strength and resilience,embodying the extraordinary within the ordinary.

The Joys of Being Young and Anxious is an experimental animation where the author produce a conceptual animation on their personal interest contrasting the use of uniquecamera angles, 2D animation technique, simple but fresh art design, and warm vs cold light temperatures to portray the evolution of the emotions in the story.
